One of my all-time favourite animated series. Popee the Performer, an animation from Japan that no one seems to have ever heard of (even IN Japan, because it just ran on this one little cable station). A guy I briefly met in Japan handed me a burned dvd of this stuff, calling it "obscure, black humour." I don't even know if I thought it was funny the first time I watched it. But it really wormed its way into my brain.
There's 39 four-minute episodes in total. Thanks to some dude in Japan named js1541 (a Commodore 64 reference?), for doing all of the work posting these. Enjoy, and I recommend you watch them in order!
