And then if you read far enough, you met Rone, a monster who tries to attack Anya, but then ends up wanting to tag along:

Well, now we have a new character for you. Introducing the second human in the story so far: Debbie, who flies out of a tree to rescue Anya from these monsters.

Yes, she has a club made out of bones. Debbie is a former captive of the monster world, and we don’t yet know how long she’s been in the monster world.
