Cartooning
 8 – 12 years
Learn how to draw all kinds of characters, from humans to funny animals, anime style to Disney style! You値l practice proportion, expression, and body language, and learn how to draw your favourite characters. Then you値l create your own characters to star in your own comic stories! Final Project: Full page comic story, printed in the latest issue of Imaginate
3:30 - 4:30 pm Tuesdays Cartooning Flip Books
8 – 12 years
Create your own cartoon characters—animal or human, alien or vegetable—and get them moving around in your own motion flip books! You値l learn how to design characters that work best in animated form, and explore the basics of character motion, action, and reaction! Final Project: Two exciting flip books!
4:45 - 5:45 pm Tuesdays Comic Books
10 – 15 years
Dive into the world of comic book making! You will create your own cast of characters and explore the different kinds of poses, angles, shots, and compositions to make the most readable and dramatic pages possible. You値l then produce your own multi-page story and learn how to lay out, copy, fold, and staple copies of their own mini-comics! Final Project: Hand-crafted mini-comics!
6:00 - 7:00 pm Tuesdays Animation
10 – 15 years
In this introduction to animation, you will learn to draw your own characters in motion. Focusing on designing characters for animation, motion and timing, students will bring their characters to life using techniques from the animation industry. All final projects will be scanned and compiled on a DVD! Final Project: A DVD of student work!

Cartooning
5 – 7 years
This class will teach you how to draw you own characters and
bring them to life through actions and expressions. You値l also
practice backgrounds and put it all together in your own comic
strip!

8 – 12 years

Create your own characters and bring them to life by
throwing them into poses with other characters, objects, and
environments. Using tricks and techniques from the animation
industry to add life, three-dimensionality, and believability, your
characters will live and breathe in comic book pages featuring
scenes of your creation.

12 – 16 years
Bring your creations to life by throwing them into poses with
