Chuck Loves the World

Biographies
The incredible life stories of the Chuck Loves the World creators.

Kenten
Kenten was born, unfortunately, in the 1970's, when bellbottoms, giant collars, and infinite shades of yellow, brown, and orange contaminated the earth. Luckily, he escaped the 70's before he was old enough to remember much of anything, save for highly-influential books such as "Puff N' Toot" and TV shows like Mr. Dressup.

And then came the 80's, the golden age of toy line-inspired cartoons! To this day, all you need do is mention G.I. Joe, The Transformers, Bionic Six, Visionaries, Mask, The Real Ghostbusters, and yes, even Jem, and Kenten is reduced to a puddle of teary nostalgia.

Kenten started drawing comic books before he could read, creating such characters as Super Peanut, as well as characters whose names must now be changed: the mysterious other-dimensional Blade, and the super hero team Supreme.

In grade ten Kenten created Scathe with the assistance of long-time friend Allan, grade eleven he and Allan created Stone Henge, and since then they have self-published a Stone Henge limited series, and published Stone Henge, comic strips in a variety of publications.

In 1998, in an effort to write and draw more frequently, Kenten and Allan created what is now called Chuck Loves the World, a comic strip featuring teenaged Chuck, the furry adorable Ratsputin, Ratsputin's little worm friend named the Worm, and a bug named the Bug. Chuck is printed weekly in a local newspaper, and is daily on the Chuck Loves the World homepage.

Kenten hopes to one day have Chuck in enough newspapers to quit his day job, and then use that money to finance the launch of the Stone Henge comic book series, cartoon, and toy line. After Stone Henge becomes overexposed and fades from the pop culture consciousness, Kenten and Allan will return their attentions to the Scathe comic book, which will spawn a highly-successful yet critically shunned movie franchise.

Shortly before his death in 2054, Kenten will return to comics with Super Peanut: The Untold Stories, and his now shaky arthritic hands will return his art style to that of the original Super Peanut comics, produced oh so long ago.

Allan
Allan was born, unfortunately, in the 1970's, when bellbottoms, giant collars, and infinite shades of yellow, brown, and orange contaminated the earth. Luckily, he escaped the 70's after being only minorly tainted by that decade's color sense and musical tastes.

And then came the 80's, the golden age of toy line-inspired cartoons! To this day, all you need do is mention G.I. Joe, The Transformers, Bionic Six, Visionaries, Mask, The Real Ghostbusters, and yes, even Jem, and Allan will launch into stories of how he lost action figures from each of those toylines in massive D-Day-type assaults on The Fortress of Evil, located in his sandbox.

Allan read a lot of comic books, particularly when he went undercover as a spy in Zimbabwe in the early 80's while disguised as a child, with many top-secret deadly weapons hidden inside of his fake leg cast. After being deported back to Canada a few years later, Allan returned to the Canadian public school system, disillusioned and lacking the motivation he was used to in Spy School.

But in grade ten Allan found a purpose more noble than serving his country: rewriting everything Kenten had worked so hard to create for the Scathe comic book. In grade eleven he and Kenten created Stone Henge, and since then they have self-published a Stone Henge limited series, and published Stone Henge, comic strips in a variety of publications.

Shortly before his disappearance in 2052, Allan will return to comics by rewriting everything Kenten has ever written about Super Peanut, and will reap millions in royalties from the last remaining comic franchise Kenten has created independently of Allan. With his victory complete, Allan will travel to the Florida Everglades to meet with the Great Nodorog Mothership, and return home to his planet of origin.
